アルバータ州AAIPの指名枠が増加、2025年は6,403枠へ

概要

アルバータ・アドバンテージ・イミグレーション・プログラム（AAIP）の2025年の州推薦枠が拡大し、合計6,403件になりました。前回の上限4,875件から1,528件の増加です。これにより、2024年の配分（9,750件）に対して65％まで回復した水準になります。

AAIP候補者への影響

AAIPは近く申請処理ページの案内を更新し、各ストリームへの割当状況を公表するとしています。今回の増枠は「地域の労働市場ニーズと州の優先事項を支える能力を強化する」ためのものとされ、需要の高い職種に経験がある候補者に焦点が向く可能性があります。ただし、具体的な配分先の内訳は現時点では明らかではありません。

なお、以前の配分（4,875件）のもとでは、2,592件（全体の53％）がAlberta Opportunity Streamに充てられていました。

当初の配分削減の背景

2024年末、前政権は住宅供給の逼迫や手頃さの課題に対応するため、2025年から2027年にかけた移民受け入れ計画の見直しを決定しました。これに伴い、連邦政府は州・準州ノミニー・プログラム（PNP）による上陸数を従来の110,000人から55,000人へと50％削減しました。

この削減は各州・準州に割り当てられる推薦数に直接影響し、2025年は全国のPNPが一律で推薦枠を半減させました。各地域は、より自地域の労働市場需要や政策優先事項に合致する候補者招待へと方針を再調整しました。

各地でも増枠の動き

今回のアルバータ州の増枠は単独の事例ではありません。上陸数の全体削減を受け、州・準州は地域の需要を支えるため、連邦政府に対し配分拡大を継続的に要請してきました。結果として、以下の地域でも推薦枠の増加が認められています。
